Fastjet Airlines: Continent's First Low-Cost, Pan-African Airline

Tanzanian based Fastjet Airlines with the parrot logo, was the principal no frills transporter to serve travellers on the African continent. In accordance with its ease method for transporting travellers, the transporter offers its passengers the lowest airfares notwithstanding pay-as-you-go optional extras and is headed to turning into Africa's first pan-continental carrier. Since launching in 2012, they have flown almost 2,000,000 travellers with passengers profiting from fares as low as $10 one way.

In September 2016, Fastjet launched a corresponding flight service through its Dar es Salaam's Julius Nyerere International Airport centre point that will see the company offering its clients with connecting flight alternatives. Under the administration, which was reported yesterday, Fastjet travellers select where they are traveling to and from and the carrier's reservations system will then look for the best corresponding flights to their chosen destination. The traveller picks his or her preferred date on Fastjet Airlines and finishes the booking procedure subsequently helping travellers from the inconvenience of making at least two separate bookings.

In November 2016, Fastjet reported an impetus to their regular customers. This low cost regional carrier, fastjet presented a flight package solution known as FlexiTrip, which enables long standing customers to buy 10 one-route flights at a fixed price inclusive of taxes and fees. The FlexiTrip solution provides flexibility, as flights can be booked up to six hours before take-off time and is valid for travel within the year of purchase, subject to flight accessibility. The 10 flights can be utilized by any of the three travellers nominated at the time of booking, permitting travellers the decision of who can profit by the package flights. The FlexiTrip bundle is accessible for domestic flights in Zimbabwe between Harare and Victoria Falls at a cost of $750, including taxes and fees. The alternative is also available on international flights from either Harare or Victoria Falls to Johannesburg in South Africa for $1 500, inclusive of two free check-in bags per flight, the taxes and fees.
